probably that is romanticism of nerves
I am writing a real time folklore of an era not far away
even then I am sure by the time you read it say 1000 times
you will feel not exactly understood
villages were not supplied by any water channels
rain was the source in majority of the cases
or say far away natural water bodies supplied the middle layer of say biotic crust
people used to dig wells for the lean period of say 4-5 months or more
labour and efforts including the food water were pooled on village basis as well as extended relationship basis etc
at one such occasion
a man visited his in laws with his spade etc ( spades are known for their variety , content , shapes , utility and quality plus dependability etc.)
very early morning was the D moment
late evening was witnessed with storage of huge quantity of food sweets of different kinds particularly Indian halwa with desi ghee and milk khir with dry nuts.
every body went to sleep by 7 PM ( time should be noticed ) you can extend upto till its just dark not further.
This man got up after a few minutes and went to the storage room
he ate whole of the food naturally sweets too
morning broke the hell for the family
he was identified by his absence
villages do possess intelligence
search was thrown up
he was sitting in his spade
people literally threw mud and sand to disgrace the family and their decision to choose such a person for their daughter
family also participated in the character certification
in the mad rush to abuse the person
No body noticed
the well was already dug by the person
he was simply resting at that time
