At my school dayswe walked in herds to go to the school
even outside the premises
and often put stay at a mass mesmerising song
" yeih chirag bugh reihn hein jaltei' jaltei'"--its title song of classic movie "Pakiza--starring Meena Kumari--the tragedy queen of Indian masses of the yore.
English version should be like this
my soul is retiring in wait for you
Til day I wonder at the song and at its meaning
today this became relevant at one of my acquittance refreshing her wait quotient: I did recall bal barthi public school rohini delhi : its 10 min. walk from my wait and day of happening in the same equation. The hearts of the "yore" have taken their own happenings: probably making me understand some what of the song's underlying meaning
but I sincerely feel its a omniscient meaningful beyond the scale of time
tomorrow I shall be walking on Rajpath
towards my room of tough and exacting work schedule
its simply overlooking your room but only on the roof-top
When I am simply exhumed with the stuff at my hand
I stand at the too transparent window
look at the walls that shadow you
beyond the reality
making my soul to soft speak the song
